Wildwood Crest - To the Spouter from Wildwood Crest re: fire department health insurance...there is not a single budget line item in the Wildwood Crest Boro budget that addresses health insurance for the fire department. It is not funded by your tax dollars. Some of the money used to offset the cost comes from Lower Township for the Crest to cover Diamond Beach. They have a coverage agreement for first responder services. WCFD has also had health insurance for 30 years, this isn't new.
