The plan for Higbee Beach Wildlife Management Area calls for res

Cape May - The plan for Higbee Beach Wildlife Management Area calls for resalination of the pond creek marsh which will kill off the phragmites which many migratory birds count on as a food source. This will be disastrous for these endangered birds as the phragmites provide much needed energy to fuel them for migration. The DEP should not go through with this project if they care at all about the welfare of migratory birds.
