I finally got tired of neighbors parking in a driveway blocking

West Wildwood - I finally got tired of neighbors parking in a driveway blocking the sidewalk. This is done often. My daughter is forced to walk my grandchild into the street to get past the cars. I called police to complain. They saw no problem. The police didn't know that cars can't block the sidewalk. They thought that was private property. After telling the officer that the sidewalk is a public right-of-way, he checked with a supervisor before having the car removed. Are police here trained properly?
