Ron DeSantis now is lashing out at Jacksonville's Mayor for removing a Confederate Statue. DeSantis is claiming that the statue’s removal is choosing to erase Florida's Confederate history as a cowardly act done by a lawless mayor who hides under the cover of night. His sponsered bill, HB 395, would allow state officials to punish any government official who removes historical monuments.
