Wildwood - RE: Your 11th-hour story on Wildwood's election. Yes, Byron was convicted of tax evasion, but the other two are viable, popular candidates accused only in a dispute about minimum documented hours worked (35/week) to qualify for medical coverage. (The charges were dismissed once already but refiled and conveniently won't be re-heard until shortly after Election Day.) I had repeatedly met with both these officials to successfully solve a problem I had, so I know firsthand their work wasn't limited to business hours. I wish The Herald would investigate the backers and voting record of others.
