North Cape May - I have a child at RMT and one entering the HS. LCMR’s school board has stated that they won’t ban sexually explicit books. Ok. The board deferred on the more important question- parental permission or even notification if a child wants to check out such books. 3 NJ school districts are suing the AG over usurping parental rights. They will eventually win. I needed to sign a permission slip for my child to go on a field trip, but not this? I looked up the graphic novel in question and was appalled. I will vote for new faces on the board if I am kept in the dark by the school.
