Lower township - Charter schools are the future of the American school system. Why do democrats and teachers unions hate them so much? Because in one fell swoop, they eliminate the teachers unions from the equation, and as we all know the teachers union has introduced politics to our school system, which costs a lot of money to fight, and produces nothing of value to the students. I want value for my dollar, and test scores and recent political events have proven that unions detract from that value. Union leaders had a good gig, but like many, their overreach and lack of value has destroyed them. Watch.
