Cape May - I think it’s time to ask the question again, since we never got an answer: What is being done to recover over $100,000 in Low Income Housing Authority funds that were misappropriated by a previous city manager? I’m afraid the answer is “Nothing” and that the taxpayers of Cape May will or have already paid restitution that should have been repaid by Jerry Inderwies and the other recipients. This is an absolute travesty. The only action I’m aware of is the hideous and ineffective plan to charge sick time and vacation of one employee.
