Avalon - An Ocean City Spouter laments that "secular belief systems" are replacing religion-based education in public schools. "Religion-based" no doubt can be taken as "Christian-based". Public schools are just that: schools for the public , not just for children of the Christian faith. Of course public schools teach those children, but they also teach children of other faiths, and children of no faith at all. Religion-based education has no place in public schools. It's properly taught at home, in Sunday School and places of worship, and at religious retreats.
