Marmora - Sorry, just because the greenie lobby says electric is more efficient than gas doesnt make it true. Non biased consumer agencies will side with gas as more efficient. It makes sense. Gas energy is used at the appliance for maximum efficiency. Electric first has to be converted to electricity from gas, then it has to suffer transmission losses, then it needs to be converted to energy at the appliance. There's a lot of energy losses along the line for electricity. But hey, dont let a democrat policy go to waste.
