Middle Township - Just read the opinion piece on merit pay for teachers. This will never happen! Young people are NOT going to college to become teachers for many reasons! One turn off is having to work 40 years before collecting a full pension. That is way too long. Better to become a police officer or firefighter and retire with a full pension and benefits after 25 years.
