I saw in press release and articles for the pro pickle ball tour

Avalon - I saw in press release and articles for the pro pickle ball tournament that Avalon is building 10 new courts at 8th street. When I look at the minutes from council meetings I don't see any mention of the courts, how they are funded, where they are going and what/if any impact to tennis and basketball there. Would love to see details and also how can this be approved without funding going through the town council?
