The city just widened the section of promenade from Decatur to G

Cape May - The city just widened the section of promenade from Decatur to Gurney Streets. I'm not sure why they did it, but I assumed it was to create more usable space for pedestrians, bikers, craft shows and the like. Wouldn't you know it, the craft show on the weekend of July 8 & 9 was set up mainly between Howard and Queen Streets -- the narrowest portion of the promenade, which left a very tight passageway for pedestrians and forget about bikers, they pretty much had to get off the promenade. Sometimes I wonder where the city leaders' heads are.
