Avalon - The two current Herald headline stories present an ironic contrast of NJ government in action. Governor signs historic gun control legislation and three individuals are arrested for possession of (allegedly) illegal stolen weapons.
The individuals charged are released because of the NJ government's policy of not holding persons of interest in jail pending trial.
There is no good reason to carry a concealed handgun on the boardwalk other than to shoot someone, maybe they should be kept in jail, maybe for a very long time. Any bets on them showing up for trial?
