South Jersey beaches all now have life guards .I am well over 7

STRATHMERE - South Jersey beaches all now have life guards .I am well over 75 years old and have been coming to Whale Beach and Strathmere since I was in under 5 years old... We never had life guards and we enjoyed the surf and ocean without any drownings... WHY you asked because we were smarter than the average beach person today who would not recognize a strong tide or wave from a pig in the sky.
