Wildwood - Hard subject to speak on, but do police and the school board realize that most active shooters in schools grew up with the out of date “hide in the corner of a locked room” drill. You never hear of the principal, administrators, or superintendent caught in the cross fires saving children. Sadly, because Their offices are the most secured places in the building they hardly find themselves in danger. If we think about that for a moment, doesn’t it seem backwards? that the safest place to be is in an administrative office and the most dangerous place to be is in the classroom?
