Lower Township - Im trying to understand the recent plastic bag ban. It seems you can get plastic bags for vegetables or fruit at the grocery, or at the fish market, yet it seems we must bring your own bags into the grocery store and drag them around with us when we shop to take everything home. Will these old self supplied bags be sanitary or inspected prior to exposure to our food? I may be missing something here, but this law seems to be not well thought out, and brings up additional questions. Perhaps a rebate to ensure their return, similar to bottles way back when, would ensure their return.
