Villas - Wanna hear a joke? My "income" is $800 month social security. The last "raise" of 5.9% put me at $800. But my food stamp allotment was reduced an equivalent amount. Because of the 5.9%. Got it so far?
The government thinks $1.22 per meal is enough to live on. I support myself in a wheelchair. Age 76. Live alone and never have been 10 minutes late paying my rent. But is winning. This morning I had potatoes for breakfast and this evening I had only broccoli and cauliflower. Fifty five years ago I came back from Viet Nam. I thought I was the luckiest person in the world.
