Sea Isle City - Today and tomorrow, in our church, as part of our Lenten experince,we will sing a Latin hymn of prayer to our redeemer as in centuries past:
"Qui vitam sine termino,
Nobis donet in patria."
(Oh, grant us endless length of days,
In our true native land with Thee."
Sometimes, old prayers and hymns hold institutional memories that remain current even today. Over 2 million Ukrainians in exile will remember the lost society and home and pray for return. The Jews in diaspora and those of us whose ancestors were pushed by famine and wars from their native island do not forget either
