5am. Our little house.

Cape May - 5am. Our little house. Lazing in front of the fire with a cup of lemon tea and my cozy pup. Still and centered in the silence of the violence of the whipping wind and horizontal snowfall. We'll fill the crockpot with chicken, vegetables, broth and wine and this recent summer's dried spices. When daylight arrives we'll bundle up to assist our neighbors in digging out. Grateful to be a part of this quiet winter community in this peaceful moment.
