Cape May - In the summer of 2013, someone dumped a brown and white cocker spaniel on the side of the road. He was picked up by animal control and taken to our wonderful shelter where he was helped back to life. I adopted him and named him Donnie. He was loved for 2.5 years. You threw away a wonderful dog and allowed him to suffer before you chucked him. I'm asking anyone who can no longer handle the care of a pet to please do the right thing and take them to the shelter. They are kind folks and will help.
