Rio Grande - According to Propublica in their reporting on Nursing Home Inspections in New Jersey, the Crest Haven Nursing and Rehabilitation Center has had 61 Cases and 6 Deaths from COVID-19 among residents and staff since March 2020. Some of these COVID deaths have found their way to the Obituaries of the Herald for those who we will never be able to replace. We miss them very much and there is no excuse for health care workers to be unvaccinated. Their so-called freedom was not more important than those made sick or killed. The holidays will be sad for those 6 families including ours.
