Now I'm thoroughly confused about my party, with primary voters

Cape May - Now I'm thoroughly confused about my party, with primary voters going for a candidate who flip flops on foreign trade deals, favors keeping those expensive entitlement programs intact, is OK with same sex marriage and transgender bathrooms, but has differing abortion positions, and will bring home our military. If I didn't read the fine print, I would think this was some type of liberal or progressive speaking. You mean, the traditional Republican philosophy has vanished?
