Diamond Beach - How pitiful is it that Democrats want to make DC a state? They know DC is overwhelmingly Democrat and that making DC a state would give them two more senators. That’s exactly how many they need to push their socialist agenda through, since two Democrat Senator’s have stated they don’t, and won’t, support their radical agenda. Luckily the Democrats don’t have the support in the Senate to succeed in this power grab scheme of theirs. If anything DC should be given back to Maryland. That’s who it was taken from.
