Why are taxes going up in Lower Township with all the home sales

Lower Township - Why are taxes going up in Lower Township with all the home sales and reassessments on these tear downs. Housing prices has risen and there is no reason why we should be paying additional taxes. We haven’t received any additional services during Covid and in fact, no services during Covid ,while township employees stayed home and collected their paychecks.
