Received an e-mail from my home owners insur co.

Villas - Received an e-mail from my home owners insur co. "NOTICE OF NONRENEWAL OF INSURANCE. Reason: Fire score for risk location area exceeds maximum eligibilty score. Fire score measures an area's fire protection, including response time, which can change from prior year based on local factors." I live within a mile of the fire dept., live on a block with less than 20 houses and have fire hydrants at both ends. The "Non Renewable" places me in a higher risk category as far as insurance companies go ,yet I got a quote for $742. more per year than currently paying. Are there a lot of home fires??
