The last 12 police officers hired in Wildwood were funded by fed

Wildwood - The last 12 police officers hired in Wildwood were funded by federal grants. And maybe the next 12 will also be hired again free on grants. And people seem happy, you can't have enough police in our town for all the crime. But in a few years all these officers will enter the city payroll making big salaries. Paid for by the same few taxpayers left in our city. Nothing against the officers, but maybe they should commit to living in our city when hired and help pay taxes to offset this cost. Also, having officers living within the community offers more protection and awareness.
