Marmora - Cape May County has almost 50 seasonal campgrounds, most of which open on April 1. The county health department is "requesting" that they delay opening until May 12. Can you imagine the number of out of state visitors who will flock to Cape May County if these campgrounds are allowed to open this week? Our stores and medical facilities could be quickly overrun, leaving no room for local Covid-19 sufferers. Campgrounds are not listed as "essential" businesses in the Governor's Executive Order 107. Cape May County should MANDATE that campgrounds remain closed, not just request it.
