Cape May - There have been many spouts about the gun designations lately. What exactly does the “open carry” gun designation mean in Cape May County? Isn’t time for the freeholders to explain what this means for our communities?

I presume you are referencing the "Second Amendment Sanctuary" designation resolutions passed by county freeholders and some local municipalities; these are not "open carry" gun designations. Per recent Herald article (http://bit.ly/HeraldGunSanctuary), these designations alter neither existing firearms laws nor related law enforcement actions.
