I don't agree with putting a playground at Routes 9 and 47, in R

Rio Grande - I don't agree with putting a playground at Routes 9 and 47, in Rio Grande. That area is a business corridor. Who’s going to use it? Do you really want kids crossing that intersection to get to the playground? They are building a big recreational facility, down the street, at Railroad Avenue. They should encourage a business to be placed at that intersection, and put it on the tax rolls. All it takes is one child to break away from a parent and run into that intersection. Just because you can get Open Space funds, doesn’t mean you have to use them.
