Cape May - Just like highway thieves, the Taxpayers Association is attempting to fleece visitors with additional fees on amenities that draw people to the city. Our guests are smart enough to know when they are being ripped off, and will opt for friendlier destinations. Many of the group's members winter in tourist resorts in Florida. Wouldn't it be ironic if their winter getaway towns subjected them to the same types of nickel-and-dime overcharges that the taxpayers group wants to impose on our visitors?
