North Wildwood - I have a webcam facing 8th Street Park in North Wildwood, so throughout the day I check to look at the park from my cell phone in North Jersey to remind me of the summer. What has come to my attention is what little use the park gets in the off-season after spending $1 million on upgrades and raising our taxes a half a penny. And now I read the city is borrowing an additional $700,000 for Allen park upgrades. Isn't Allen park where the city spent thousands of dollars to create a roller skate rink and skate board park that was hardly used and later removed? Waste of taxpayer dollars!
