Wildwood / Cape May - What's all the fuss about Wildwood police making more money than their counterparts in most of the large cities? Yes, my husband makes over $100,000, but he has been there over 12 years now. An officer can be shot in any size town, so they should be rewarded for this dangerous job. If you don't like paying your taxes, then move out. We live in Cape May, and our taxes are higher, plus he has to commute to work, and still pay for gas and tolls.
