Teach children not to pester dogs when they are eating, sleeping or caring for their young. Do not allow any child to jump on your dog. Place your dog in a safe place when you have visitors, especially children. Be sure dogs in any place you leave your children are constantly supervised. Keep your dog in a safe location during holidays like Halloween. Check locks/latches. Only you can protect your dog.
