Cape May - Two Cape May City Council members seem to be opposed to progress. The need for a public safety building is great but they don’t get it. At least one has announced before seeing the results of months of work that she will vote against the plan. These two council members want to put the police department on Pittsburgh Ave. near a quiet residential neighborhood and Village Greene. How will the residents of this quiet area feel about the 24/7 police activity in their backyard? The proposed location is in an environmentally sensitive area. What will the environmental impact be?
