Avalon - The internet used to be great fun but seems to get worse every year, especially email. Boomers should take responsibility for this even though it happened on the watch of three generations. After all, most boomers read Orwell and so knew about the technology's potential for limiting free speech and freedom. Some boomers even heard of Churchill's reference to "perverted science." Boomers should have known it wasn't different this time. There was always no reason to think big tech's managers/owners would act any better than managers/owners of other large firms. Boomers should have known better.
