Sea Isle City - I cannot imagine why the citizens of Sea Isle City decided not to dedicate the new public safety building to Patrolman Michael P. Cullinane. He died attempting to save others' lives. The previous police department was dedicated to our fallen, local hero; he left behind a son. The dedication held Sept. 21 was so soulless and empty because Sea Isle City forgot the hero that gave his life to save others.
