Avalon - Adults learn by making mistakes. For example, many N.J. boomers rented an apartment before buying a home. Their mistake was, in effect, paying property taxes on the landlord's behalf. Some boomers figured this out and learned to become landlords. I imagine some boomers distracted themselves by blaming their difficulties on the prior generation, though I don't remember them blaming the generation two generations ago. Oh well, maybe it will all work itself out. Boomers know we have to give young people room to make their own mistakes.
