Marmora / Ocean City - I was driving on a through street in a shore town June 22 at noon. A family of four or five drove through the stop sign on the intersecting street, crossing in front of me. I blew my horn, and of course, stopped so I did not run over them. The father, at the head of the line, yelled at me angrily, “You are supposed to stop for bikes.” I yelled back that he had a stop sign. I drove off knowing that he did not get it. These towns must educate cyclists and enforce the law as it pertains to bikes. There has already been one bike fatality in the county this season.
