Avalon / Valley Forge - What a disaster; a beach replenishment project Fourth of July weekend? Poor planning by Avalon; no coordinated information available as to which access was open. After hiking seven blocks and making u-turns at every red fence, we finally made it to the beach and then were told we needed beach tags? To access a work site? Avalon should have posted signs on each street where beach access was open and not during the top of the tourist season where we pay top dollar for rentals.
