Cape May - Re: the Wildwood spout on Wildwood bringing minor league baseball into town. Atlantic City tried it with the Atlantic City Surf and it only lasted a few years. Attendance was very low. Local competition is the Wilmington Blue Rocks, Reading Phillies, and Lehigh Valley Iron Pigs. Very good ball clubs and an excellent place for a family outing during the week and weekends. People come to the Wildwoods for the beach and boardwalk.
