Strathmere - Upper Township politicians and the experts they hire need to go back to the drawing board when it comes to Strathmere flooding. Reason for the flooding is beach replenishment which has resulted in loss of deep channels and much deeper and wider Strathmere Bay. If you look at the pole on the west side of Strathmere Bay which is high and dry on low tide and prior to beach replenishment marked 15-20-foot channel leading to Intracoastal Waterway. Sand is coming from beach replenishment choking our waterways. Dredge the bay and roads will not flood.
