North Cape May - I agree that the Ponderlodge project is not necessary. I moved to this area 45 years ago because of all of the open space here. I do not like seeing houses being built on every empty lot. The contractors that make all the money in building these homes might have the argument that they are putting our local tradesmen to work, and this is true. But the building ends and there is no long-term benefit to the community. Maybe some of these builders who claim to build for the sake of our township could put some of their efforts into restoring the historical properties that are facing demolition.
