North Wildwood - In the Feb. 13 edition, an editor's note explained that the National Academy of Science reported that children and grandchildren of immigrants make net positive economic contributions to our society. This may be true, but a Middle Township spouter's comment was talking about illegal aliens costing us $70,000 per walker, per year. They clearly explained that they "don't follow our laws" as they "cross our borders," thus they are not legal immigrants. The editor used statistics for immigrants, not illegal aliens in their reply. This confusion happens often in the media.
