North Cape May - About a year ago, a gentleman was in the Herald telling readers about the problem of English ivy killing trees in Cape May County. Many large oak trees and others are completely covered. It took me about 1.5 hours to cut the ivy attached to my tree, and pull it a couple of feet away from the tree from the ground. It worked very well. Last summer, only two vines tried growing back. Please check your trees. They are so important and beautiful.
