Wildwood - President Trump said he would take the mantel for the shutdown, and reopened the government without any money for his $30-billion wall. The deal he agreed to from the Democrats was the same deal they proposed 34 days ago. The Democrats believe in border security and have proposed over $2 billion towards improving our borders. It's a shame that the shutdown even happened, holding 800,000 workers hostage for a wall that the majority of Americans don't want. Let's hope Democrats and Republicans can come together and craft a plan with no wall and keep the government open.
