The local result is readily visible if you know what to look for. If you have been here for more than a decade, you probably remember when it was a fairly rare event when the marshes were flooded over by the tides. Now, the tides flood the marsh frequently – 10 to 12 times each month – on sunny days. That is direct visual evidence of rising sea level." Is this true?
