Villas - I believe monthly reports should be available from code enforcement detailing the number of complaints received, actions taken, inspections, and department-initiated actions. That information should already be tracked and available for the public. It will show the effectiveness of the department and potential need for additional resources. Or, it would simply validate the criticisms of the department. While they perform their job, I really don’t believe they initiate many actions on their own from touring the town.
