North Wildwood - To a Middle Township spouter explaining the Fire/Rescue/Atlanticare bill: In my situation, the invoice my mother received clearly noted "ambulance service" and billed for the part of the service that medicare did not pay for. Atlanticare never came to the scene and she was only transported by the NW Fire Dept. ambulance, yet her municipal taxes go to pay for the service of the fire department. It's looked upon by us taxpayers as a "money grab" by towns since this moral issue is ignored by the elected officials who like more money flowing into the town's coffers. It's pretty sad, but legal.
