Rio Grande - I have been researching retiring to the Caribbean since my husband and I love it there. To retire and live there, you must show a certain amount of income a month to retire there. It's something that in the U.S. you just cross a border and you're rewarded with perks. My father, when he came here, had to have a job and go through channels. The cost to keep undocumented immigrants is out of control. At school, we have to bring in a translator to understand the parents and children. This country needs to take a step back and close borders.
